Can anybody indentify this VIN on a FD3S

Hello, is anybody able to identify this Japanese VIN: FD3S117715
Additionally, what are your recommendations restoring an FD that has been water logged. The engine idles roughly, but the electronics are fried.

Realistically if the car has been flooded, you will prob need to replace ALL wiring looms on the car. That includes the front main harness, the two side looms, engine harness, charging harness, dash harness inner and outer and probably every single control unit. I had a car once that got flooded at the port by Typhoon Jebi. By the time I got it all the wires were green with corrosion and nothing worked. The engine was fucked where water got in thru the exhaust. So you can add a rebuild to the list. If it’s been sat with sea water inside the engine then you won’t find much that’s reuseable inside. That’s just to a start to get it running btw. What you do about a soiled interior is up to you but realistically I’d be replacing the carpet, the seats. Oh and I’d prob want to jet wash the hell out of the car and some sort of rust prevention. All in all, its prob not worth it if I’m honest!

oh and VIN looks like a version 1 Type R. Hard stock shocks, manual, small brakes and early non textured interior panels. Rear seats not bins

Posts some pics.

Let's see how bad the car is off.

Might be a candidate to merge with a car that has been written off, provided your car still has "papers".
