a/c tube bending?... fmic install.

well did my blitz fmic install, and all went pretty well until i got to the a/c tubes. i bent the thinner tube to fit no problem. but the other thick tube i have no idea, i tried bending it by hand and box wrench and i got nothing. is there any special tool or any other method i could do to bent the thick a/c tube. it only needs to move about 4 inches to fit. any help would be great. thanks.

What I did was, I brought my a/c lines to a hydraulic hose maker and he made almost the whole line rubber instead of half aluminum so it fits like a charm

Yes. I would definitely use a bender on the large tube, otherwise you risk kinking, collapsing or cracking it. You can buy or rent them from some auto parts stores or equipment houses, plumbers--and check home depot too.
