A/C removal steps
hi I would like to remove my a/c from my car as I never use it before ,so can anyone tell me how the whole operation can be done please and what size belt I need to buy.
I drive an Fd 93 single turbo 400ph ATM.
And what I'm suppose to do with the a/c hoses after word and wires etc...

I understand you are new and excited but as I told you in the other thread...all of these topics have been covered a million times...often with step by step pictures.
I'm trying to keep you from being flamed for asking a question that has been asked many times before.

Big trick - the condensor (the radiator part) removes from the bottom of the car. Pull off the belly pan and it's all right there.
If you do remove the AC, sell the parts to someone who needs them. Mazda doesn't have the lines and stuff any more, and we need all those parts to stay in the community.
Also, all the lines shouldn't require much torque to break loose. And, you will need some big wrenches for some of the fittings - up to like 27mm if memory serves. Just triple-check when you go to remove the lines that you're doing lefty-loosey, it's VERY easy to get confused and turned around and if you tighten the lines up too much you can strip out the aluminum threads.

i just did mine a few weeks ago , super easy here my thread , only reason for it cause i could not start my car after but that was cause i flooded it , hope some of it helps

I think when I last did an AC removal, it took me an hour, hour and a half tops to take 90% of the stuff out.
-Release the refrigerant SAFELY.
-Undo lines at firewall.
-Undo lines at AC pump (one is tricky- undoes from above, have to use combo of extensions on ratchet to get straight down past PS reservoir tank to undo banjo fitting)
-Undo 4 long bolts on side of AC pump and unplug wires off pump. Tie wires back out of way.
-loosen belt adjuster for AC/PS belt.
-remove battery and battery tray with 2x10mm bolts.
-slide the AC pump through the space left by removing battery.
-remove little canister condensor thingo at front by battery.
-slide under car from the front and remove AC radiator (I have aftermarket bumper which I had to remove, but that takes all of 5 mins)
-Snake hard lines out of car.
-Put new PS belt on.
If you're really keen, last step is to get the AC core out of the heater box under the dash. That part took me a while... It was the most frustrating.
Last step- get the pump, AC rad, core, lines, condensor, etc and weigh on scales.
