A/C ideas
OK i live in texas... its hot. Anyway i removed my A/c last summer in light of Mods ( apexi GT IC and Koyo Rad single turbo batt relocation... etc etc.) So I can get a ton of girls with this car no question but it seems to be a problem when they find out there’s no A/c not to mention i kinda miss cold air also. I've done a ton of A/C work and have Relocated house A/c units, my question is where can I put the condenser (radiator looking thing) other than the engine bay where I have no room. I was thinking of putting it under the gas tank between the rotary extreme rear diffuser with a slim fan on it. well any other ideas would be great.
thanks guys as usual

I think you're on the right track with the rear mounting of the condenser. Maybe you could find one from another car that is long and narrow or order a custom one from an aftermarket co. that would fit better in that area.
However, just a warning, this will be a MAJOR project that will end up costing you as much as a used car w/ A/C. You'll have to have custom lines made, and make sure everything is mounted securely or you'll be constantly chasing leaks.
Also, do you still have room to mount the compressor? This can be a problem since it must be mounted the way it was designed. As far as using an aftermarket setup, this would create even more expense.
Just be sure to research this and understand the way an A/C syst works before you decide to start this. It would be easier to buy another car with A/C and not drive the FD when it is really hot.
Keep us updated and do a writeup if you decide to try it

LOL nice, yea i'll post pics as soon as i get it all done, im very good with A/C im certified and all just wanted to know a good spot, after looking at it i have decided to use the rear under the gas tank spot. i'm re doing it all in copper lines so its easy to braze, the compressor should still fit in the original spot. does anyone have A/c parts layin around? i'll gladly take a few off your hands lol I'll post pics of the progress as soon as i get it started
Have you thought about insulating the low side lines if you plan on running them that far? Using copper with that much surface area might pose a problem.
And where to run a low side line of proper size and insulated? Maybe use oval tubing and run it next to the fuel line running the length of the car. Or maybe a rubber line would be a more practical thought.
Interested to see how this is going to work, seems like an ambitious task as there is very little room to do so IMO.
