A/C Flashing Light Issue
Hi,
Hopefully, this is my last question for a while. Since I purchased my FD over 2 years ago the A/C light has intermittently flashed or stayed off while turned on. I know on modern vehicles this is intentional to indicate low refrigerant or a fault. Is this similar on the FD or do I just have a bad switch or ground? I have an apexi FC but the A/C seems to run in all positions which I know is a common issue for some people. I've checked the connections and all the plugs are fully seated.
Thanks in advance,
Mark

This is a diagnostic indication that the compressor is failing. You ll see this with many Japanese cars vehicles of that era. If you power it off and back on it will probably work until the next time it decides to do it again.
it could also have other more minor issues but the two times i saw that happening the compressor ended up failing shortly after
