Actualy all you have to do is turn you fan switch to the 3rd position or higher and it will turn the radiator fans up to the next higher speed. Turning on the parking lights will do the same thing. I'm not positive but I think with the A/C on the fans run in high no mater what the fan selection is in on the dash.......but this is why you see a difference.
