Re check the coolent. It may just be low being the radiator needs to be burpt. You prob just have a air bubble in there.

There is a single spade connector down by the AC pump that you probably didn't plug in.

Takes a few times of burping the system until all the air is expelled. Just add as needed. If it lasts more then half a dozen times I might start looking hard for a leak if one isnt already obvious.

most likely you need to burp it like everyone else said, but if you didnt plug in what turbojeff said. your symptoms will be running rich and probably a lumpy idle too.

I did the same thing and didn't plug in that connector near the ac. My car did not run rich and was just annoying. Find that connector!

you should check the "small" black plug near the power steering pump. That small plug is connected to the coolant level plug also. So...if the small plug near the p/s pump is off but you have good level coolant and connected the level plug, it will BUZZ!

My money is that your right. First time I pulled a motor I accidentally put the spade connector into the white connector...

The connector is black....I believe it's a female end too.

How will disconnecting the coolant level sensor cause the car to run rich and idle rough?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think the coolant level sensor is connected ot the ECU.
