Buying used car need opinions

Alright, here's the deal. I'm 16 years old and I am going to have $20,000 (American) to spend on a car. I ahve always loved 3rd generation rx-7's. And now that I am old enough to drive, I would like to buy one.

I was thinking on purchasing a used 93, 94 rx-7. I was hoping to spend $15-17,000 on it, leaving me 3,000 extra.

Now lets say I find my rx-7 dream car, has about 70,000 miles on it. What would should I purchase to my engine? I heard apex seals should be replaced. But thats all I know. I am no genius on rx-7's but would like to become one. What do you guys think I should get the engine to keep it running healthy. (BTW- I don't want to spend a few thousand on a bigger turbo, I just want the essentails that the engine needs to run smoothly and last longer)
