buying a 94 rx7 with rebuilt engine
Hello all,
I am seriously thinking about buying this 1994 RX7 but i am worried about the original miles on the car itself which is over 115k. I wanted to know, how good does an engine rebuild actually extend the life of the engine? i am kind of new to the rebuilding concept and am worried about how long i can use the engine. Of course i will have it looked over by a specialist in the area make sure to test drive it and such, but before i go through all that, i want to make sure that rotary engine rebuilds are ok. also, there is a hyperlink near the top that leads to more pictures of the car.
Thanks
-Tommy

seems like a lot of money for the car. I bet he would take around 14k for it. 39k miles on a rebuild is nearing the end of its life depending on how hard it was driven. If you buy that car and plan to drive it around for a couple of years, save money for a rebuild, because one will be calling your name pretty soon.

it seems fine. 39k on a rebuild is more than good. don't know where you are getting that from...
i would insist on the power fc though for anything over 14k. $15-16k seems good.
