butterfly in Y pipe

Am I able to remove the butterfly in my intake Ypipe? I know I will have to take care of the holes left over, but can I do that to run both turbo's at the sam time?

I dont understand why just removing the butterfly wont do it.. Will it work, just not to its fullest potential? Or is it not a good idea?

It will work, but instead of just the secondary turbo venting boost to pre spool, both will vent until 4500-4800 rpms. Then hang on...............

You don't understand how the sequential system works. There's also a flapper door in the exhaust manifold and the prespool actuator as well, as well as the charge relief valve.

Read up on non-sequential, there's lots of good information on the forum.

It takes a decent amount of work do properly do the conversion, and unless your car is pretty well modified (full exhaust, computer, intake) you won't get much benefit. If your sequential system isn't working right, you'd be better off fixing it and getting all your power you should have.

Also, you're relatively close to Pensacola - I work at Fighter's Garage on Saturdays and we do quite a bit of FD and rotary work. If you're having problems with the car, we'd be happy to help. PM me if you want more info.
