Burning Oil Smell
So My 92 FD was delivered to me today, starts up and runs fine but it has a burning oil smell kinda like a boat or 2 stroke. This is my first rotary so I'm not sure if this is normal or maybe because it has been sitting for a long time its doing this? Can someone please shed some light on this. I had the compression tested on the car and it was +243 8.3/8.1/8.4 if that matters at all and also on my drive home the steering felt really weird (there are summer tires on it and there was snow on the ground, just had to get her home) like the power steering was there when the wheel moved a little but then turning i felt it like hitting a open hole on the wheel like no feed back or feel to it again can someone comment on this as well?
PS The car has about 58,XXX orig miles on it

Rotary engines burn a little oil on design to lubricate the apex seals. So smelling like a weedwacker ( and sounding like one lol ) is normal. As long as it's not chunking out huge clouds of white smoke. A little smoke is normal
