So how do you plan on reaching the 500 rwhp mark? Increasing the boost?

yea i love those, but the one I have now should be good for 500+ WHP, it flares out to 4" for the last 4 feet of exhaust, next to the muffler.

cool thanks

by the way, I just started that site (rotarytuner.com) and it would be cool if you could join up. im trying to get it off the ground, since its a one of a kind "rotary-in-general" website/forum, like RX2, RX3, Cosmo, etc.

Exactly what I was wondering. Any particular reason you're choosing to run the Wolf ECU? From everything I've read they're not exactly the best ECU's on the market. Just wondering what made you choose to run it? I'm in the market for a new ECU as well so just gathering any information I can. Thanks in advance!

That's why I was so curious as to how he plans on getting that number. Didn't seem reasonable to me either unless he plans on running very high boost levels. Even then it would be pushing it.

yea my friend has one in his FD and he is putting one in hes brothers 2 rotor dune buggy. I got really into the wolf3d and how it works, and its alot easier to tune than the powerfc. the powerfc is a good ecu but the 3d just has soo many more features. the wolf3d maps are alot easier to tune, it comes with the software. it also has datalogging (i think 45 minutes) and a bunch of other features. my friend is pushing about 650 to the wheels (at high boost) and he swears by those things.

i have nothing against the powerfc (I like mine), but i have heard some stories about how the fc is only safe up to about 450 hp

please read the thread better and understand where im coming from...

1) im getting bigger injectors, like i posted
2) the PFC (in my experiences) has not been that great (even with my 420 WHP setup)
3) the turbo will run well within its efficiency range with my setup

That's simply a resonator, not a cat.

I clicked your link, but can't access the pics b/c I'm not a member of that site.

Also, can you provide details on your turbo? The Garrett website doesn't list a 3040R.

thats a pretty broad claim made by the turbo manufacturer.

do a little research. i dont see that turbo making 500whp on a rotary without working very very hard.

edit: i'm assuming you're talking about a gt3540...
