Question Buddy Club Condenser

This part looks like it gains some hp and is affordable. Where is this installed and how does it work. You can find it at rotaryextreme's website under engine parts. Someone please explain! (Curious)

Well, reading the same web page you already looked at, it's voltage/grounding box, similar to the HKS circle earth system but with the supposedly added benefit of being a voltage stabilizer. Mounts in the engine bay like the page says as well - "cool blue lights light up your engine bay." The picture shows it over near the fuse panel near the driver side strut column.

I'm using it as a grounding kit and voltage regulator. Didn't notice any differences in the voltage numbers when driving around and logging but I'm using it more as a preventative measure as the car seems healthy as it is.

If anyone figures out how to open it up please post...the screws are really weird and i wanna cover up the damn leds.

all it is is a capacitor.... kinda like a small bettery that will put out power if your voltage drops

It -may- help the car run smoother, by ensuring sensor voltages are more stable. I put a 0.47F capacitor on my car when I installed my Alpine system. I didn't notice any change in the engine operation, but the radio -may- be a little clearer (hard to tell for sure due to exhaust noise).

BTW, I hid the cap. under the dash. -I- don't think it's cool, it's just a capacitor.

Not to rain on your parade, but it would suck if it leaked while someone was sitting near it.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the crappier your grounds are to begin with, the more power gain you could see on the dyno.

thats correct. if you havnt secured better grounds than stock yet, you should do that before messing with the ignition upgrades.

That's well within the margin of error between runs on a DynoJet.

Come on guys, it's not JUST a capacitor...it's a capacitor with blue LEDs!

So the final verdict is if i order this part and install it I am going to make more hp and not have to tune it or anything (atleast 3-5hp not bad). Is the install hard? Thanks again
