Question Broken/damaged CAS

Ok, quick question. I just rebuilt my motor and installed everything...when I tried to start the car, it just cranks over but never starts. I checked everything and it looks like my crank angle sensor got slightly damaged somehow, could this be the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer - Yes, if the Crank Angle Sensors are damaged it will not start. Just imagine the ECU not ebing told correctly on when to fire. Pick up your green shop manual and turn to page F-180 and read.
