brake proportioning valve placement inside drivers cabin

Hi guys!

I need to run a brake proportioning valve on my build, but I don't want to mount in in the engine bay.

Did anyone mounted his aftermarket proportioning valve inside the drivers cabin using the stock interieur and also keeping the DIN-Slots for the headunit? It should also be reachable while driving at the track to make adjustments.

Any pictures would help

*bump*

anyone?

I've just ordered a sexy Tilton proportioning valve.

Will report back after I've got it and found a nice location for it

Shouldn't be hard so I'm not sure why you're asking. Just be carefully to run a grommet on-top of the line through the firewall. Some people half *** the job and could potentially spring a leak from the line rubbing on the firewall through-hole.

my question is not about the installation itself, it's about how to integrate the proportioning valve into the stock fd3s interior so that it looks good and is reachable during driving

Just wanted to get some ideas for different mounting spots

In your case, I would mount it just under the front of the dash. This way, you can reach it and make adjustments, but it's out of sight completely. This would also help keep the line short.

Now if you want the "bling racer" appeal, then it could easily be mounted in any spot that would house the unit behind a single drilled hole for the ****.

lol @ "bling racer"

Thanks for your input. I think it will be hard to reach under the dash strapped into the harness but we will see

I believe Brent Dalton had/has a setup similar to what you are looking for.
