faulty master cylinder most likely. fluid bleading by the rubber plunger seal in the master. any external leaks?

i use to have a leak.. but that was fixed! it was a leaky rubber seal on that white plasticky cylinder near the fire wall! the seal was removed and cilicone was used to seal it back up. ther hasnt been any leaking since,

and this issue started after i let the car sit for 2 weeks!

Did you ever run the brake fluid reservoir empty before getting your leak fixed? If you can pump the brake pedal a few times and it gets firm; then you wait 2-5 minutes and get goes back to having no pressure it's typically air in the lines. If you keep pumping the pedal and it never gets firm, then that's usually a MC failure.

it never quite got empty, probably 1/4th fluid was always there!

it does get firm after a few pumps! but then if i dont use the brake for even 2 minutes it goes all the way down again!

so if its air how do i bleed it?

if you have conventional brakes the procedure is listed in the FSm in the brakes section, not sure how to bleed ABS, as its not in the FSM. dont know if its any different, but im sure it is. since its controlled differently. but dont worry I'm sure Mahjik will be by shortly to post a link to a how-to hahaha
