I also like the Brembo for the front. You can also get them from Rock Auto who is a vendor and provided a 5% discount code in the vendor classifieds through June 2022.
I have the OEM RZ front brake calipers with larger front and rear rotors. I really like the set up. Good upgrade over USDM stock brakes without being too aggresive. Plug and play without too much fuss.
Ive used various "performance" pads in the past and I find Endless MX72 pads my favorite for aggressive street driving with occasional track use. Good initial bite and consistent performance even with repeated hard stops.
I did the 929 master cylinder upgrade. Only difference is the increased brake effort. Not worth the hassle even with the slightly larger RZ brake calipers IMO. OEM set up with fresh fluid and a good set of pads is plenty for 90% of the FD owners you don't need to upgrade to aftermarket BBK IMO.
Having driven the FD on the track (Mosport) and living the majority of its life on the street, the OEM brakes with aggressive pads for track work is more than enough for 90-93% of the people. Facing facts, the car is going to see more street driving than anything else. Having to stomp on the binders in that 1 emergency stop, the OEM stuff is going to do the job.
Stick to a full disc. No need to get drilled or slotted if all you’re going to do is drive around on the street. Getting blanks is more than enough. Which is about $200-400 for a set of discs all around?? Brakes aren’t that crazy if you stick to the OEM dimensions.
I’m at a point where I want to keep driving the FD without having to resort to constant maintenance. Also squeeze the last bit of performance out of street/track components without going bananas and going full out race mode.
With that being said, you clearly notice the difference when you get a BBK. Yes, even in your daily street driving duties. The brake feel and knowing you’ll outbreak 99.9% of the vehicles out there, gives you a lot of confidence when you’re out driving about. If you’ve owned your vehicle for awhile, you’ll recognize the difference immediately. Honestly, you’ll begin to ask “why didn’t I do this sooner?” The answer of course is always about the money. Going quality BBK is not cheap. However, if you don’t want to fiddle with the brake system constantly anymore and you want it to last an extremely long time, I highly recommend you get a BBK.
Where can i get stainless steel Brake lines and slotted/normal zinc coated discs in oem dimensions Front and rear? I have a 99 rx-7. The Discs Diameter is about 300mm. What has to be changed when using larger Break Discs (e.g. RZ brake Discs)?
Can i use centric Premium 120.45051 on Front and rear? Are the Brake Rotor Dimensions identical?

Dixcel sells RZ rotors. Fronts are 314x32, rears 314x20. You can also use aftermarket 2 piece rotors like project Mu in 315 diameter. RHD Japan sells everything you are looking for.
Thanks. What modifications are necessary when going from 294 to 314mm? Will the heat shield fit? What about calipers?
96+ Front caliper from FD's with options : These are becoming expensive used - you can distinguish them from thumb? like mark on caliper outside or different sized pistons.
96+ Rear caliper bracket : $120 each new IIRC
Nippers to nip(cut) the backing plate : you are very unlikely to find the plate alone used, usually with spindle for $$$ shipping.
Optionally you'd need high temp spray can to color your calipers, SS lines, reseal (overhaul) kit for your calipers in which case you'd need couple tools to do
Torch and manual hammer impact tools are recommended for rotor screw removal, m6 10mm nut for rotor.
Caliper cleaned 314 V 294
Painted Bracket Nipped Backing plate Voila Dolce la vita
I have RacingBrake's front and rear BBK with Chip's modded 1" master cylinder. Haven't been driven much tho.
RacingBrake also sells stock size 2-pc rotors.

Thanks, i have a 99 FD so i should already have the matching calipers and brackets? Or did These only come with the 314mm brakes? I think i have the 294mm size Rotors. I need to measure them precisely. What overhaul Kit die you use for calipers?

Second on the MX72. Got a set from Sakebomb, paired with vented stoptechs. Fantastic for spirited driving, little fade where the OEMs I could hear the rotors 'pinging' as they cooled. I would message SBG ahead as importing is a bit wonky right now, might have a backorder.

Precisely, the different calipers were installed from Type 2 RZ models onward.
Even when your FD is 99 on type 5/6 model, only higher trimmed RS/RZ models were installed with it.
Front caliper and rear bracket is needed for 1999 Type R just as any USDM models.
I used a reseal kit named Miyako.
