I remember searching this topic several months ago for a friend. Sometimes the amps can be repaired but most times they cant since the IC chips they used were made by bose and they dont make them anymore. We just replaced my buddies amp with a used one. You should be able to look in the for sale section and find an amp. You could also put up a wanted ad or maybe Japan2LA here on the forum will have some since he parts out JDM cars often FritzFlynn may also have some too. He has a bunch of parts lyin around.

#1 I'm pretty new to the site so take it easy.
#2 I figured I would specify which amp I needed before someone asked and I would have had to say it anyway.
#3 I'm receptive to feedback pointing me in the right direction. No need to be douchy about it.

Even though the bose system was especially designed and unique to 3rd gens you'll have to search in the detailing/fabrication section. carsterohelp.net, contact Bob Randall.

or google bose amp repair

Don't waste your time. Hit up bose directly and tell them what you need. Amplifiers are $75 direct from bose.
