Bosch O2 sensor

I got a code 17 on my car and I did a search. Most people that got it had Bosch single wire O2 sensor replacement and some of them said that they don't last long. My car is running rich also, before I got the code. I'm planning on doing my hole fuel set up soon anyways since the book said a fuel leak cold be the problem and air leak but I don't understand how that goes. I was wondering how many people have this problem since I got a Bosch O2 sensor.

I'm also getting this:

It only seems to happen at night.!!! its code 17 What can I do to correct this? I know there is someone out there who is smart enough to figure this out!! Please help

One thing I'd also check - there is supposed to be a ground strap going from the body of the car to the flange at the main cat-cat back. That's the exhaust ground. If that's not there, you don't get as clean of a reading from the O2 sensor as you should.

I've never really heard of the Bosch one-wire sensors being problematic - most one-wire sensors are pretty much the same.

Yeah, you can get braided wire that's damn near the same as stock at most auto parts stores. That may not be the whole problem, but it's sure not helping anything .

Good luck!

Try looking for an oxygen sensor here: www.oxygensensors.com, and go with a Denso sensor (oem)

so I'm guessing is pretty much a bad O2 sensor? I put a new ground on the dp and I had no problem today so far, no CEL. I was a bit easier to drive too but I still got a little bit of spottering at slow driving (under 40mph at 1500-2500 RPM's)
