6PSI in all gears!

Wow, this is an ongoing battle with small victories. So today we change out the charge control actuator selonoid bam start the car up the ARM moves in and we get 4psi in neutral. However in all the gears now the most boost we can build is 6PSI. So basically what can we check now or what is the next step to finally getting this puppy to 10psi? I'm guessing it has to be a boost leak so what is the easiest way we can go about finding it? I'm also guessing it could be missing the pill leading to the wastegate??

Thanks so much!

well why not pull out the vaccum line ot the waste gate and check if there is a pill in there?
its pretty easy to get to.

even if there is, replace it with a ball and spring type boost controller (15 bucks at homedepot or lowes)

as for hunting down the vac leak, to find one after the throttle body, spray some starter fluid around the joints, have a fire extinguisher ready just incase of a big flare up, smaller ones will put themselves out in like 1-2 secs and will not harm anything (kinda like doing the zippo trick where you light your finger on fire with just a bit of gas, no harm done).

double check all bov hoses as well as intercooler piping connections for rips or tears.

good luck

btw: what kinda exhuast are you running?
