borla xr-1 in the midpipe with a apexi dual n1

Just wondering if anyone is using a borla xr-1 race muffler (with the three inner chambers) with an apexi dual n1.
The dual n1 was on the loud side for me and im gonna go with a big "street" port along with the fact im going single (but the wg is plumbed back into dp).
I've been seeing video's of some single cars with free flow exhausts like the apexi dual n1 and the cars sound a bit too loud and lumpy for me.
I'm concerned that the xr-1 race muffler im going to install isnt gonna cut it! And im gonna have to change the catback.
Anyone have any before and after opinions with an xr1 with a free flowing exhaust?

I am running the mods in the sig.

In short, DP, MP (with Borla Sportsman), Apex'i N1 Dual and street port.

The Borla made a big difference in quieting things down at idle.

It is still loppy and sounds like an outboard at idle.

Gets rid of a lot of the droning when cruising.

Very very loud at WOT. The noise increase when the second turbos come on-line is unreal

Without the Borla, my neighbors were complaining (one was a police officer), the cops were always following me, and my gf refused to get in the car.
With it, everybody is happy.

Well thats the same set up I have, I still have to put my engine back in the car. So I haven't actually heard it with the midpipe. I was told by jspec that the n1 dual is actually only a 2 1/2" opening atthe end. Where as my midpipe is 3". I will measure it formyself when I pull the stock cat off. Just thought you may want to know.
