boring out stock fuel injectors

I sent my secondaries to rc engineering to bore them to 1300cc...actually all 1300s are made like that. I never had any problems with them but I have seen a thread up here a few months ago that said "1300s blew my engine". Maybe search for that thread.

there are a ton of people on here who have done it with no problems....now that i've said that you are going to be the guy who gets them and blows your engine because of it...haha just kidding. I am not worried about mine, I'll put it that way.

It's a huge increase from 550cc to 160cc it might be overkill. If you plan on staying w/ the stock turbos then get the 1300cc because you will not need to change your fuel rail.

yes, i know you have to get a new rail, but theres a chance of the injectors failing after boaring them out

I'm working on redoing my fuel set-up right now, using a custom secondary rail and Bosch 1600cc injectors.... Believe me, if you don't need the extra fuel that 1600cc provide, do something that utilizes the stock fuel rails: either 1300cc seccondaries, or modify your primary rail to fit 850's.
Not to mention, how will you acurately control your secondaries??? If you are running the Power FC, it will only accept up to 1300cc secondaries, unless you are using the datalogit software....

Bridgeport Anyone??
I'm currently running a TO4R setup with 850cc primaries, and 1300cc secondaries, and a Skyline R32 pump in the tank. No problems at all, and tuning for 430rwhp at 16 psi. Good luck man.

Can you bore the primarys to 850 and the secondaries to 1300? This sounds pretty good for stock twins. Also will you need a bigger fuel pump when boring the injectors?

I know this is an old thread, but I'm considering buying some jspec secondaries and thinking about getting them bored to 1200cc or 1300cc injectors. What would be the advantages and disadvantages to both? I plan on getting around 380whp and already have my upgraded pump installed. I know some say that boring out to 1300cc could cause them to stick, but does anybody have personal experience with this?

I'm stuck between going with buying the modified primary to run 850cc injectors. I already have the injectors because I ordered an extra set to send to rc to get bored to 1300cc for secondaries. The thing is, it is cheaper just to get the modified primary rail. I would rather have 850 primary and secondary because I think it would be moderate and easier to tune. But honestly I don't know. What do yall think? What are the benefits with going 850x4 or 550x2 & 1300x2?

...i'll have to give this thread a chance...
Does anybody know how the 850#s are bored out? I have a lot of machinery here, and no time for sending the injectors away, so do this by myself...
...would be great if there are some informations about the way to bore the injectors...
