the twin apexi AX turbos? It says "twin turbo response with big single turbo", I'd like to know if it works as well!

Personally, I think the knightsports twin kit (about the same size as the stockers but over 400ps) is a better idea for a street car - but I guess it depends on just how much power you want.

i dont think the little rotary with normal ports will push enough exhaust to spool two large turbos fast enough.

no one has it here. youll get lag up the ****.

The manifold in their single kit looks like what the OBX's and such were coppied from. Same proportions, huge primaries, turbo location...

"Tell me that is not your FD covered in snow!"

sure is! hey, it's hard enough to get a free parking spot in japan - let alone have a garage. What's worse is apparently there is some problem at the moment with dust floating over from china - so everytime it rains (then dries) my car looks amazingly mouldy Poor FD indeed...

The kit is beautiful and I doubt any one in the US has it because when I priced it a year ago it was over $7,500 simolians! Although, I do have their Burnout DP back race exhaust.

Damn there was some interest in it a while back, but the price turned people away. You can get the kit without the turbos and put your own variation on it, but..........

It looks cool, thats about all I can say.

Makes sense...but what about w/ a aggressive street port, or say a race port? I'd imagine it wouldn't be bad at all...what ya think?

Also, I'm wondering if you could ever see over 400hp w/ these twins due to manifold restrictions... I had a nice convo the other day w/ some guys, and I came to understand that the stock manifold is too restrictive, which is the major reason why you get turbulence and power loss at higher rpms (around 6500 rpm). Hence why you may have twins that are capable of 500+ hp, but you can't utilize all that power.

The 2 examples were the supra tt setup, in which I forget the specifics, but the manifold was designed specifically to create free airflow, and that's why you have lots of supra guys running 400+ hp on their stock twins. Also, I believe Demtrious' car that left a lot of us speechless, doesn't it have a completely custom manifold?

(Correct me if I'm wrong anywhere... I'm still learning =)

It would appear the kit does away with the stock exhaust manifold.

Those are t25 turbos...I'm not sure about the top hp numbers but I actually don't think the lag would be that bad. I can make this kit for 3 grand

If you say so...I can't tell from the pic lol

widebody2, aren't the twins on 300zx's garrett t25s? Cuz I don't think they're good for 500hp, are they?!

As for making the kit for 3 grand... is that an offer? lol. So what makes it so incredibly expensive, if Border is asking close to 8 grand for it?! That's a hella markup...

They are Apexi as mentioned on their website if you translate the description.

So basically they're Apexi t-25s, plus lots of fabbed piping and what not to make them bolt on/plug n play w/ the FD?

If so, is anyone running these?? (whether from border, or from apexi and fabbing the rest themselves?)

Its expensive because you need two of everything and no one else makes one. Also the piping is a lot more complicated than a single kit. 8K is rediculous. I am making 2 copies of the kit.
