Hey my FD has boosting problems. I don't know if my turbos are working but when I timed my acceleration, the 0-60 mph is about 10 seconds!

I can still hear the blowoff valve still go off so I guess it's still boosting? any ideas?

 

How did you time yourself--stopwatch?? Get a boost gauge and watch the boost pattern!

 

how much is a gauge what should i look for?

i would double check all of your i/c piping and turbo piping. just pop the hood and rev the engine from the throttle cable and watch around you turbo's. sounds like your losing major pressure somewhere in your boost system.

I'm having all my piping replaced, i had a weird problme before, when i revved, smoke would come OUT of the intake...

 

The intake .....? What part? Manifold? Or around your turbo's somewhere? You definately need to get some sort of reading, borrow one if you have to from someone but get a boost gauge in there.

 

i need help with my turbos also.... i just recently got a rebuild on my motor.. the first few days were great... perfect 10-8-10 reading.... now im getting 11psi on the primary and then the transision to 8psi but it stays at 8.. any ideas... i need pictures because i dont know what im looking for

And for some reason my car tops out at 120 mph.. exactly 120. Will a new chip fix this?

 

any help with the 120 mph cap?
