Unhappy Boost Spikes? low oil temp? help!

Hi, all

well today i was testing my car.. and i found 2 problems:

boost Spikes: i took my car for a short ride 1st to test boost pattern... and i found it... sometimes I'm getting peaks of 0,9 bar!!!! at wot.. i tried to make a video to show you... so as far as i know my maximum boost should be 0,7 bar and my boost pattern 0,55 / 0,7 bar... but im having a real weird boost pattern

oil temp too low: after a short spirit ride to check boost pattern my oil temp was 29º celsius (84 ºF) water was 63 ºC (145 ºF) on highway just after pushing when I've arrived to home after parking and ready to shut down car temps were oil 35º celsius (95 ºF) water 84 ºC (183 ºF)

I was thinking that maybe there is a problem with oil temp sensor.. so i took the oil dipstick... to check if oil was cool or heat... and surprisingly... oil was touchable.. just a bit warm...

I've made a short video to show you the boost pattern, please help me!

**car mods**

Catback, Greddy Airinx intake, stock ecu.. car is a R2 year 95 Jdm

Please help me! i'm really worried about those spikes...

An electronic or manual boost controller should rid those spikes.

Just for a test, try running with both the wastegate and precontrol solenoids unplugged. This will dead-end the wg and pc actuators and limit boost to 8psi (.55 bar?) across the board. If this eliminates the spikes then it's obviously a safer thing to run until your boost controller gets installed and adjusted.

There are few wrong answers to the boost controller question. I personally use a very simple pair of manual boost controllers. (JoeP Inline controllers from www.boostcontroller.com)

Profec B and other electronic controllers also work.

I've never installed one. I'm sure if you look around here you'll find details.
