Boost Spike=Boost controller?
Boost Spike=Boost controller?
Will a controller like the Greddy Profec-b spec 2 solve or help the issue with a spike after transition? Or, will I still need to port the wastegate?

A manual boost controller will hold back SPIKES because instead of just having pills, you have an actual solid assembly restricting pressure. But boost CREE, depending on how bad the creeping is, some exhaust that is supposed to be routed out of the wastegate will get by it and still get into the turbine. Keep in mind that spikes is when your boost raises 1 or 2 psi and holds. And that creep is when your boost does not hold, just slowly keeps building, hence "creep". I hope this explained what you were looking for.

Take your car to Pettit bro, i have a cb, dp, intake, and cool charge II intercooler and haven't experienced a spike yet. They also set my vaccum hoses up where if i do get a spike a hose pops off instead of the enging popping
However this is just me. I'm no expert that's for sure !!!

That valve you see is like 5 bucks at a home depot store and is very reliable. DONT even think of it as ghetto if you do. ALOT of people do that. Just because you dont have a shiny polished MBC or something doesnt mean it wont work.(sorry alot of people call it ghetto when they see it to im kinda tipsy off it)
