Boost Solenoid!

Boost Solenoid!
I can get a great deal on a Apexi AVCR but the problem is that it dosent come with the boost solenoid. Can i use a GM solenoid or anyother solenoid! If i got it from APEXI it would be 150s! Is there any solenoid that will work! TIA
