Boost problem fixed
So when i bought my car in april it was running around 12 lbs of boost. About 2 months after i got it i noticed i was only getting about 9 lbs of boost and then recently i was getting 7 lbs. I thought for sure the gradual drop meant turbos were going. Well today i was out looking at the car trying to find out how to get to the pre control and wastegate actuators to check the pills and i noticed something
Standing at the passenger fender looking at the engine. On the intake runners right above the y pipe there are 2 nipples for vac lines. The left one goes behind the motor and to the drivers side firewall to a T connector. Well on the bottom side of that line at the nipple on the intake there was a burnout. Apparently it was a really shitty silicone vacuum line because it kept breaking on me when i took it off and tried to get it on. Well in the end i got it on and took it for a ride. 10-8-10 baby. Now i just have to figure out why it fluctuates from 9-11 psi.
