ABS sensor wire

Hi all

My FDs ABS rear left sensor wire is torn (It isn't posible to combin). Will I have any problem ever to drive without this sensor. And what is this sensors function?

Thanks.

the wheel sensors tell the abs unit when the wheel is about to lock up and then it modulates the fluid to that wheel to prevent it. you should fix it.

This wire has couple tip - white and black. Where i must combin each one. Has it any direction. Does it have significance of wire tips sequence. It is invisible. It is tire in the bottom of the wheel.
If anyone has pics, put it please.

Used ABS sensor for that rear side - $30 shipped.

pmii

Runnign with a damaged sensor could render the ABS useless or cause braking problems
