boost problem - 2002 Bathurst R FD

hi all my 2002 Bathurst R FD is getting about 7psi in the first turbo then 0psi on the second.

I know that you need the 10-8-10 but you need the initial 8 psi before the actuator will allow the second to kick in.

its almost like driving an N/A rotary after 4500rpm

Ive checked all the hoses around the turbo etc, nothing is split or loose.

Any thoughts?

Check the 'check valves' - first thing I did If you don';t know what they are, there the green plugs sort of thing... you'll find then behind the black vacuum box connecting to your upper intake manifold...

Yeah i have, I have been thinking that possibly the primary turbo intake pipe is collapsing under boost as i couldnt see why it wouldnt make enough boost on the primary, yet the secondary boost is ok.. Seems quite odd.

had a read through that, might aswell go through the motions of checking everything. only thing is they dont expect you to have secondary boost if your primary aint boosting past 6 psi ... go figure.. mine does
