Where are my boost pills? are they obvious? I am doing my rats nest and i dont want to cut them out!

If you don't know where the pills are, perhaps you should do a little more research before digging into the rat's nest!

The pills are in the short lines from the primary turbo housing to the wastegate and pre-control actuators...no where near the rat's nest....

Look on www.fd3s.net, there's a chart on there showing Holley carb jet sizes vs the stock restrictor pill sizes.

 

Im going to get a manual boost controller, want a Hallman evo RX pro, however having trouble sourcing one in the UK!

Sorry Ryn, when i said rats nest may i should have said im replacing all my hoses with silicon.

I can see where he has installed a boost controller to do the job of the boost pill. Are there any other lines i need to not replace or install a boost controler on?

 

Ok, now ive worked it out i know where to put my boost controller. I take it i need to take the pill out of the old line and reinstall it to the new one for the secondary turbo precontrol?

 

the pills are in the lines on the nipples of the primary turbo, u would need to remove the pills, if u don't see them and u see more than 10psi, then u have no pills and they are in the nipples itself and u would have to drill them.
