boost levels
Is it ok to lower your turbo's boost for everyday driving to improve engine and/or turbo life, or does this have a reverse negative effect on the engine? thanks again, Jeff

I'm guessing you'd be running rich,
which isnt as bad as running lean, but not as good
as runnin normal.
Also guessing it's better to stick to just stock levels.

you can get a super afc to turn down your fuel if you want to run a little leaner but i think the best thing to do as well as the cheapest thing to do is to adjust your driving habits. just dont get on the boost and you'll be fine.

That's fine, you should beat on the car a little once in a while, to clear out all the carbon depositis, but lowering it for city driving or whatever is fine. You won't run rich. It's not like the fuel system is always expecting there to be 12psi of boost and always gives it that much fuel....it opens the injectors to the amount set in the ECU fuel maps to that specific boost pressure. Hope that helps.
