Boost leak primary only?

I just took some off parts of to polish them put the uim back with the rest of the ic piping ect. and for the fist time in 3 years have a small boost leak..I think.
I,m running sequential and up to 4k I,m hearing a whoosing sound at transition it seems to be normal.the funny part is between 1st and 2nd gear changes my vacumn goes down to 20 or 25 the opposite way from boost. Also I can hear a cha cha cha sound between gears.
I guess it sounds like its bleeding off somewhere until 10 lbs and then it hooks up fine.
I would not post but I,m running out of ideas,
Carl.

Yes and yes...even tightened one stud on the crossover pipe to make sure of a good seal.
Come to think of it it reminds me of the sound the original coupler did as it popped off the stock plastic cross over piping,if that gives you an idea.
