boost issues
i just recently put 11g+ into engine work and it still isn't boosting properly... not only is it not boosting properly now the coolant buzzer goes off cause i got them to put a micro tech ecu in.. it doesnt not over heat or leak any coolant cause i just got the motor rebuilt ...
here is my mod list.. i just copied and pasted it
- 5spd
- Half Brigde w/ 3mm seals
- Aftermarket HKS Turbo Kit t51r (rebuilt)
- HKS Front-mount Intercooler Kit
- HKS Hypermax Fully Adjustable Suspension (new)
- ALCON (GREX) Front Caliper & Rotor Big Brake-kit
- Walbro Fuel Pump (new)
- 1300 cc(top) and 850 cc(side) injectors (new)
- Greddy Type R B.O.V
- HKS Air Filter (new)
- Battery Re-located In Rear (new battery)
- Stainless-Steel Exhaust Manifold & External Wastegate
- Micro tech ecu (new)
- A/M Radiator
- A/M Stainless-steel Turbo-back Exhaust with fujitsubo muffler
- A/M Engine Pulleys
- A/M LSD (new)
- A/M Fuel-pressure Regulator(new)
- 17" Advan 3-spoke Alloys (front-225), 18" (rear-285)
- Falken Azenis Tires (new)
- HKS EVC III Boost Controller
- HKS Turbo Timer
- Greddy Gauges: Boost, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Exhaust Temp, Water Temp
- Evolution Steering Wheel
- Mazdaspeed Shift ****
- A/M Pedals
- A/M front bumper (new)
- Cat eye signal lights (new)
- Changed spark plugs(new)
- replaced horn(new)
- Factory dual oil coolers
- abs removed properly
- steal braided break lines
- tinted windows (new)
now i dont know if it just needs a wideband to tune it properly on the road or if the coils are to old and there dying... it ran fine on the dyno but once i went to pick it up it didnt run fine at all... i called the tuning place they said it running rich witch is why it wont boost.. i dunno : i am running a really old boost controller the hks evc III it still set on the setting when it came from japan. wondering if that is the issue aswell..

you can always bypass the boost controller and run off the waistgate spring to see if you get a change... And why did you go with 1300 top feed injectors when you could have gotten stock ones the same size? There are bad and good things whne you replace a who bunch of things at once... the good is you have a lot of new parts..new is good.... the bad is you have a lot of new parts... anything can be the problem... Post some more info on what its doing other than its not boosting(full throttle, no boost at all, boost dies off, a little boost?) Just anything to help...and your coolant issue could be from air bubble in your system they might not have bled it correctly. Good luck

well it creeps up to .1 bar it wants to create more boost but its like there is some thing that is giving it a hesitation i will record a video of my problem and get it up on you tube soo i can show you what i am talking about.. and i went with the 1300 cc top cause that is what he recommended with the bigger port
