EGT temp range.
Ok so i did a search, didn't really find something that answered my question or maybe my temps is just fuged..
when im dirving on the streets in high 90's and low 100 in the summer it rease 400 on my Greddy guage, on the freeway at like 70-85 it goes to like 600-700. I beilive this is F so i was wonder if it is to hot or not, funny thing is that the light on the consol that say over heat exhaust came on fora quick second then turned off, i didn't even know it was still hoooked up. AFR is in the 14s crusing.
what EGT range should i be in at 80mph on the highway at crusing?

You can't really compare EGT's from car to car. It's all as to where the probe is mounted. A half an inch difference will have a significant difference in temp comparisons. I would recommend getting your baseline as you are doing now, and then use your EGT differences as you tune.

If I remember correctly a few members have recorded about a 300 degree difference when the probe is after the turbo compared to when before the turbo. I'm guessing your probe is located after the turbo in the downpipe and Mahjik is correct, placement makes a difference. I'm pretty sure your gauge reads in C, because 1000 preturbo at it's hottest is really low. Howard Coleman tunes for 1550 F preturbo at WOT, and anything above 1640 is asking for trouble.
At cruising loads though, EGTs up to 1800 like you are experiencing are not uncommon and is acceptable.
NOTE: This is speculation though, since placing the probe post turbo is not the most accurate way of measuring EGT.

according to the EGT gauage (sensor mounted on the 4' DP about 3inches behind the turbo) the highest it read on the highway at 85 is 720c = to 1328, so that is ok? i shouldn't worry until 850 on my EGT which is 1562 or above?

You want to look for an EGT reading before the turbo in the manifold, so let's just add 300 to your temperature as a guestimate. So your max. cruising EGT is approx. 1628 F. This is acceptable in vacuum/cruise.
In boost and WOT, you want to see 1550F, or what would show as 676C on your gauge, and not much higher.

I see around 1000 or so when cruising, and peaks range from 1200 to 1400 when I go WOT to 8k rpm through the gears.....1200 for 2nd gear, 1300 for 3rd gear, 1400 for 4th gear.
All #s are approx of course. This is with AFRs of mid to high 13s when cruising, and the WOT runs reflect my aquamist 1s water injection system coming online.
These are all fairly recent, seen when ambient temps were in the 80s or so.
