can some one explain to me just what boost creep is?

 

def #1 boost creep is when you allow turbo to flow more air than the wastegate can release, this results in higher boost.

def #2 when your boost creeps up past your peak boost point.

oh and yes its real, will you get it with a midpipe? some do, some dont.

It's just a plate with a hole that's smaller than the diameter of your exhaust. It creates extra backpressure to reduce the load on your wastegate. There's an obvious performance degradation that accompanies this process, but it will help keep your boost under control until you can properly fix the problem.
