The only vendor that sells Bonez is Rotary Performance in Texas

oh hey whats up jason. So im thinking of changing my precat out with a stainles steel downpipe. Is there one you would recommend as far as fitment and price goes?
Also do your polished y pipes come completely polished or just the top part? and do you have a polished one in stock?
And of course theres the ASI Billet ast that im also interested in getting.Do you have any of them in stock?
Thanx.

I would recommend the Petit DP. I have it on my car with no fitment issues, the only think that irked me about it was the fact it came with no gaskets but that wasn't so bad.

I have the Pettit in stock and it comes with Bolts and gasket.
We are not doing the polished ypipes anymore. They were a pain in the *** to polish.

kick ***.um what about the one that costs like $210.Is that something you guys fabricate in house? If so hows the fitment on that baby and does it come with the gaskets and bolts?
also do you have any non polished effini y pipes in stock or that billet ast?
I mean If I can save 90 bucks on the downpipe Id be happy. It means I can spend it on other parts.hehe.

You need to PM Jason or send him email to ask him questions about parts in stock at the RX-7 Store.

As far the RX-7 Store DP, there was a thread about it a while back. Apparently, there are some fitment problems using it with the stock main cat. If you aren't using a midpipe, you might want to look for a different DP:

Get the Pettit DP.

Not everyone wants a midpipe. There are quite a few problems that can arise from using one if the owner is not prepared to deal with them.

re-use your stock gasket at the turbo, i suppose you could reuse the main cat one too. If your using your stock maincat..it has studs on it...no bolts needed

I have the Bonez downpipe and it fits perfectly. No issues with it for 2+ yrs now. Yes, got it from www.rx7.com

The studs which come with it suck though. Reuse the stock studs or get some new stocks studs. Expensive but worth it. Others are soft and are easy to crossthread.

well ive thought about it and I think im going to go with the pettit one since it comes with everything I need to install it.That and ive done some research and the three best ones are the pettit the m2 and the bonez.Although the pettit comes with everything and is cheaper because of this. Also the m2 pipe is staniless steel but ive found out through a reliable source that the flanges on the ends on the downpipe are not stainless steel but mild steel.
