In my opinion it makes the turbos sound different when they spool. Just a little louder. Sounds sweet!!! My opinion though

the rxstore.net pipes fit the stock air box and probably other cold air boxes as well.
I remember that.. Was it when I did that GB?? I bought one also.. At that time no one on ebay wanted to go below $100.. Acturally no one on the internet! Except Steve Kan.

They do make the turbos sound louder. If you read other posts about the pipes you will find that the top pipe fits the stock air box, but the bottom does not. I installed just the top pipe because you don't even see the bottom one. It dresses up the engine bay quite nicely.
When/if I get an aftermarket intake system I will use the bottom one too. For now I have the RB cold air duct working with the stock air box.
I would recommend silicone couplers. The ones that come with are cheap rubber/plastic and other forum members have had problems with them splitting.

I would post a pic of my set up, but my pictures are always too big (file size) to post.

BTW I got mine for $40 shipped.

I got mine on ebay. I would post pics, but everytime I try, I get an error saying that the file is too big. How do I remedy that without photoshop?

Ok, i bought some hardpipes from ebay. Nice quality, all aluminum, clamps fit and everything for $40 shipped. But, the bottom one is hard to fit with K&N's. I worked with it for about 2 hours and the top filter hits the hood. What can i do to fix this? Cut the bottom pipe?

Open the picture file in Microsoft Paint, use the Stretch/Skew option in the Image drop down tab. Resize it at some percentage (I usually use 50% as a base), and make sure you do both vertical and horizontal at the same. Then when you are done go File and Save As. Then make sure you are saving it as a .JPG and NOT a .BMP. That will cut the size down CONSIDERABLY.

Just picked up an eBay intake with hardpipes and dual open element filters. No bungs for any of the airbox plumbing though. I see there are about 5 extra connections to the factory airbox - Air Pump, 2x BOVs, and 2 I don't know what they are. What do you guys do to resolve the fact that you can't connect any of these things to the intake pipes? And where do those other 2 lines go and what do they do? Thanks!
