Bolt on FPD Delete

I was going to use this but i'm going top feed instead. So i won't be able to test if it works perfect or not ? but it looks like it will. I hate tapping things so i figured i would look for a bolt on solution. I purchased a FPR adapter off ebay and voila. I reused the stock screws but they should be replaced with some bolts. The adapter was $25 shipped. I reused the stock FPD oring

That looks like the SARD adapter, I installed one of those on my 2ndary fuel rail for my SARD FPR. My primary rail is tapped and have had no problems with leaks going on 2 months for the rebuild now.

Just make sure to get some good hose clamps. Mine was leaking a bit off the secondary fuel rail till I screwed that sucker down real tight.

I also wouldn't re-use an old o-ring, get a new one. If it leaks going to be a pita to get in there to replace a 20 cent part.

Yea, I bought a injector/rail setup from Jason (mobeoner). It has a similar looking adapter on it, he said it was made by Garfinkle, has an fittings on it.

So I went to install mine but it doesn't fit - the nipple is the size of the FPR's nipple, which is smaller than the FPD's. Also, I put the old FPD o-ring on it and it seems kind of loose. Has anybody installed one of these?

In for updates. I want to delete mine soon.

Noob question: Once the FPD is deleted, are there any other culprits that have been known to cause engine fires?

Just did a little bit of research. The size of the one in the ebay link that vosko posted is listed as 8mm. According to the write up on Banzai about the FPD delete, they require a 5/16" hose barb. 5/16" is .3125 which is roughly 8mm. So I dont see how there would be a problem with the size of the hose not fitting on the barb.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. The barb looks okay, but the nipple that you put the o-ring on, the side that inserts into the primary fuel rail, is too small.

The FPD o-ring is too big for the nipple so it doesn't seal, and the FPR o-ring (which fits properly over the nipple) is too small to create a seal in the hole in the primary fuel rail.
