bogging...then check engine light?

Lately i've noticed my car has been acting up. I'll be normally driving and the car will just kinda bog out. It will not die or anything but the throttle will completely cut out for a second then kick back in. Usually when this happens, right after, the check engine light will come on, then go off. The only thing i can think of is a ground problem for the 02 sensor or just a ground in general. I say this because, I don't ever think it did this bogging action, until i changed exhaust about a month ago. There is a small ground wire from the frame to one of the bolts on the cb section of the exhaust. Well, when Air tighning the bolts onto my exhaust, it broke that ground wire, and I never replaced it. Would that be a factor in my problem or does anybody have an idea what it might be? Any help will be greatly apreciated.

I found out it was a code 9, faulty thermo sensor. I took the sensor plug off, saw all the wires were still attached fine, and then just cleaned the plug and pluged it back into the sensor, problem fixed. I guess over time things like this just get dirty. Car runs perfect now.

It was the one with a green plug, behind the water neck.
