No, I should have clarified. The answer I gave you is for seq. Non-seq is usually seen at about 3200. There's tons of threads that show up if you search.

so the sequential setup is seeing boost at 3k rpm? that seems a bit late.

Each car and each system is different wrt to exhaust and intake setups, so it's tough to pinpoint boost threshold, full boost rpm etc.

Having said that, the BNRs have larger, stouter turbine wheels. This will help flow better at higher boost/rpms, but will introduce a bit more lag. So seq BNRs are laggier than seq stock twins with the rinky-dink turbine wheels. It's physics, and you've gotta pay to play

Here is my experience from running 15psi seq. with BNR stg 3s, expect about a 70+hp/tq jump during transition unless you lower the transition down from 4k-4100 to about 3700. Dale Clark informed me of this and it still gives you the kick in the pants at the transition but is alot more drivable. I did try lower around 3500-3600 and it gave an almost completly smooth feeling power curve, but I like having some kick so I raised it up alittle. Sorry I don't have a dyno graph available, I'd post mine, but I'd have to find it, and I don't have a scanner.

He did make an older stage 3 version that basically just had larger turbines, but they tended to leak alot of oil. Now they are basically new turbos using the stock manifold.

As for when they see boost they are see it about the same time as stock seq., they will however be a little delayed due to the larger turbines, but not noticable from my point.

Tip - If you want to try non-seq with seq turbos go into the PFC w/datalogit and set your transition and drop out trans. very low, ~2000rpms and go for a run. I do this on when I do my track days so I don't have to worry about transition in the middle of a corner, which can make for a surprise rear end kick out.

Good info^^^

One thing though, the older BNRs had larger compressor wheels, and stock shafts and turbine wheels.
