Check your hoses and vacuum tank. The rattle is probably a heat shield or most likely a cat that's falling apart.

WTF?! I thought the primary needed to make at least 8lbs of boost for the secondary to work at all. How is it possible to operate the TCA without boost from primary turbo?

This may sound silly but you sure you didnt swap some hoses around and accedentally put it in poor mans non seq ? lol

Wierd how your getting boost after transition with no pri boost. Sounds like you have some wierd vac line probs. Please be sure to keep us up to date on it, I'd like to know what the fix was.

My buddy had the same problem. The actuator rod on the turbo wasn't adjusted correctly. You can try and spin it but it may be to rusted. We just redrilled the rod so it would fit over the pin. It rattled and he had zero boost due to the door being open, this fixed it .........

Well, you can bet that it's nothing wrong with the turbos. I haven't heard of anyone yet who had a problem with BNR upgraded twins. There have been a few instances of them being installed wrong though. Best of luck to you and I hope that you'll be enjoying the newly added power soon. Laterz.

Yeah check the actuator rod, especially if you're hearing a rattle.

0psi on primary would mean that the Charge control valve is open and the actuator is not funtioning or the vacum hose on their is not on correctly or leaking. Check that first. Start the car and see if the CCV rod is pulled in? If its not pulled in than the Y-pipe is accepting air from both primary and secondary before 4500rpm

2nd thing could be that BNR did not adjust the wastegate after porting it and left it ajar causing exhaust. That should still give you some primary so its probably not it unless your boost guage is bad.

adjust it out or drill a hole outward so it will fit over the stem with the clip..
