ramy- I know I need an ecu but I was planning on buying it with the fuel system after I have broken in the engine. The more I have on my credit card, the more money I pay in interest so I wanted to stagger when I bought everything so Im not racking up alot of money I dont need.

1) You pay INTEREST?! WTF? You CRAZY son? lol. Other than it being against my religion, I just don't pay interest cuz it's stupid to do so if you don't HAVE to. There are a million and one 0% APR cards you can get, whether it be on purchases or balance transfers (buy it on another card and transfer it to that card). Most you can do for a full year, interest free. That's the way to go my friend. How do you think I afford 90% of the stuff on my car? I can't pay for it in cash! lol Payments over time, interest free

2) I feel you on taking it one step at a time. You may very well be fine as is (stock ecu, fuel etc) if you remember not to punch it. It shouldn't be hard to keep that in mind seeing that most ppl don't drive their FD much in the winter anyways... So yea...I'd take it slow too.

Oh and if you need the 411 on the 0% APR cards, lemme know. I'd transfer your balances to one of those cards NOW. No reason to pay more than you have to!

Any more? You wanna cancel the ones you don't need... I have my regular card for everyday purchases, then another card I don't even carry around w/ me just for large purchases that has 0% apr. No need in having multiple cards. Of course, w/ higher limits, you can consolidate multiple cards that you may have into one single card, lessing your required monthly payment, and helping you make more manageable payments to only one card (vs. multiple small payments to each card every month)
