ive been searching for a rx7 for over 7 months and i found one. but..... the guy doesnt know wat he is doin. the car he says was loosing about 1/4 cup of coolant like several times but the car would run but then he left it running one day and it just died.? is the man pulled the plugs out and they were fouled with coolant. what could it mean.??? he wants 8 grand for it with 184000 on it lol yes but the interior and the turbos are from 98 and all is prefect .....its just gonna need some paint but no dents . any ideas????? is it worth it??

Sounds like coolant seals are bad, new motor is needed.

 

184000 miles on the original engine???? jeez i think thats a record. You should probably see if you can get it for 6000.... 184,000 miles on the chassis is a lot...most likely youll have to replace the shocks, all the bushings, some transmission components, power plant frame, and probably several other items because they are shot. That car will require a major tune up-- make sure you tighten all the chassis bolts because with that kind of mileage, im sure more than a few have gotten loose.

thanks guys yea i was thinkin of offering him 6 for the car. the car really looks good it just needs the paint from the sand chips near the wheel wells and the motor eveything else looks good. so ill keep ya up on the out come thanks again
