I'm to the point now that I have to actually start spending money. I'm basically letting the project fund itself ( by selling un used parts) so I can use my own money to pay off bills and stuff ( which are more important right now). I wish I wasn't so patient. Blowing my engine basically kicked off the 20b project since I have a 91 vert to drive around. I haven't done anything in about 4 months. Need to buy a tig welder so I can start the building of my custom intake manifold, exhaust, and fab everything else.
So far I've built my subframe and diff mounts. Rack hasn't been moved. Move the shifter 5 1/2" forward. The engines mounted about 3" lower than stock. Since more weight is now lower more toward the center, I should have an even lower polar moment of inertial than stock. Still need a radiator, oil cooler plumbing, oil filter relocation, ecu, intake, and exhuast. Hopefully phase 1 of the project will be completed by the end of this year.

well good luck to you. we're in the same boat (although it sounds like youve made much more progress than me). im just a "parts collector" at the moment

strange follow up (a week or so later)........ it STOPPED. this car is possessed. a couple years ago i blew a water gasket, HUUUUGE plum of white smoke (steam
) at startup. started it a couple times and left it overnight. when i tried again the next morning it was fine, and its never happened again! also my second turbo just came back and has been back all weekend. now my tach is going crazy though, and shows the wrong RPM's and starts flipping up and down sporatically, but as all things with my FD, the problem.... you guessed it.... comes and goes
