Blow off valve question?

Where is the best place to have the bov? Is it better to it closer to the throttle plate or is it better to have it by the turbo? My guess would be that it would have to be closer to the throttle plate. What do you guys think?

closer to the throttle plate since the air is moving forward. If it were closer to the turbo all the air by the throttle would have to come back.
