How to check if ECU is getting power input... Ideas?

How to check if ECU is getting power input... Ideas?
If I take a multimeter, what should I be reading on the wiring harness going to the ECU? I was told the power wire which powers the ECU is red.
I need to know if my ECU is even getting power, and I need to do some wiring tracing... if anyone knows... please inform me.

Look in the service manual... you can figure out pretty much anything from that. If you don't have the service manual... get it off my FTP
