Blow Off Valve name?

Whats the official name that the dealer calls a BOV? And also he said that theres a number on the back of it that lets him knwo which one came with my car.. Apparently there are different kinds? is this true or does it go by years. If it go by years can someone tell me the one for a 1995. Mine was thrown away.

most dealers have no clue on what their talking about

but the actual "blow off valve" is the abv, (air bypass valve) but then theres the crv (charge relief valve)

k i pretty much knew it was the air bypass valve. But i never noticed that tehre was a number behind the stock bov before i changed it. I doubt it matters alright thnx

The ABV and CRV are not the same part, here are the parts numbers:

ABV: N390-20-250
CRV: N3C1-13-36V

You should really download the parts fiche.....www.mazdaformance.com is one site that has it.
