Blow-Off Valve adjustments

I'm trying to dial in my blitz bov so it only vents during positive boost (the way it should be doing ja?) but I've changed it 4times now and it still vents around 0psi before positive boost. What i'm thinking of doing is just turning it 1-2 whole turns in and call it a day. Now, would it be bad if the spring adjustment was turned in such that it will not vent at 1psi positive boost? Or, would it be better for it to vent closer to 0 in vac side or vent a little after 1psi positive boost? Er, in other words, which would cause more harm, venting too early or too late?

Thanks

how exactly can you adjust the blow off valve to have the best boost response? It never came with an instruction manual showing how to do it.I just screwed in the top screw all the way in and thats it.Maybe its the wrong thing to have it set at.Can someone help with this subject?

Loosen the tension bolt all the way and observe your your vacuum at idle. At this point, you will notice vaccuum or air leaking from the bov. Turn the tension bolt in until bov stops leaking or vaccuum is at normal level then stop.

I only have a boost gauge. How can I observe my vacuum at idle. Its usually a little under the 0 mark.
I have a blitz boost gauge so it reads in bar measurements.Do I need something other than a boost gauge to observe the vacuum?
