my airpump is out... plus I eliminated the ACV, AWS(2) and EGR.
I want to take the pipes out to clean it up a bit, I had the pipes blocked off before.. but I just want them out..
I also need to order the DT block off also but don't know where to order these block offs. I tried to call and email K2RD but no response... I also tried going to Home Depot to find some aluminum sheets but they where too thin...
btw... what is ISC/BAC? there is a BOP for it...

The ACV has one pipe that goes to the airpump... but there is another one going from the airpump to the LIM... then another pipe from the LIM to the Main Cat....
The block off allows you to remove the actual ACV which is located under the UIM....

ISC = Idle Speed Controller
BAC = Breath Alcohol Content?
Maybe someone else knows this one.
All of those pipes and the EGR connect to the ACV. Blocking off the ACV effectively blocks off all of those pipes and the EGR. The explanation of the ACV begins on page F-115 of the FSM (Factory Service Manual).

Ahh.. yeah.. dunno what BAC is... thanks for the pic...
But what do you mean when you say, if you block off the ACV.. it eliminates the EGR too? Aren't they 2 different things? I alreay have my ACV and EGR blocked off...

hey guys, need some help removing the hard pipes thta went to my airpump. The ones that sit between the intone manifold and the turbo y-pipe.
Well I'm trying to het these hard pipes out, and I tihnk I'm down to one more nut, then one that holds one of the pipes to the pasenger side of the intake manifold, but I can't get to it. I dont' have enough clearence aorund the nut to get a socket or a wrench on there. One of the pipes themselves is in the way. How do I get this off?

I'm referring the one 90 degrees from that one which faces the passanger side of the engine bay. The nut I'm tring to get to is completely out of site. And it has almost no clearence around if for me to get any tool on.

hmmm... i think i know which one your talking about... because i ponder myself on how to get it off... its the black tube isnt it sitting on top of the turbo right??
well the only way i could get if off is to remove the intake elbow from underneath the car and then you can take the black tube out. If not it wont go out all the way and it will be left hanging there...

Yellow Dragon is no more
The two holes in the LIM go to the ACV which is blocked off, so I never considered it important to block them off. That is the reason they are not in the kit. I have sold over 100 kits and no one has ever complained about any problems. Some people do want the additional plates just to clean things up a bit.
